It'aewon- It'aewon district is located near U.S. Eighth Army Base and has been known as major shopping place since the 1970's. The items sold at It'aewon include custom-made suits, silk dresses, sports-wear, fur jackets and leather apparel. Sporting goods, fur, leather, and shoes are found year round regardless of seasons at a fraction of the overseas prices. English and Japanese are spoken at most of the shops and won, dollar, and yen are happily accepted. When the night falls, It'aewon also offers entertainment with a large variety of clubs and restaurants.
